Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account, buying a membership, or using the Shadow Browser application, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Shadow Browser.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age to form a binding contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under any applicable law or sanctions regime.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your email address, for keeping your password private, and for everything done through your account. Membership follows the account rather than a device, so anyone holding your credentials can consume your remaining access. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Licence to use the software

While your membership is active we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the Shadow Browser application. You may not:

• resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute the application;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or modify it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law;
• bypass, disable, or tamper with membership checks, expiration enforcement, or the Trial session limit;
• use automated means to abuse the website, checkout, assistant, or API.

5. Acceptable use

The application hides its own window from screen capture. You are solely responsible for how you use that capability, and you agree to comply with all laws and rules that apply to you — including your employer's or school's policies, examination and certification rules, and the terms of any third-party service you access.

You must not use the service to:

• commit fraud, cheat in exams or assessments, or gain an unfair advantage where prohibited;
• defeat monitoring you are legally or contractually required to permit;
• infringe intellectual property or misappropriate confidential information;
• access, store, or distribute unlawful material;
• harm, harass, or defraud any person.

We may suspend or terminate accounts used in these ways, without refund.

6. Memberships and payment

Prices are quoted in US dollars and paid in cryptocurrency through Cryptomus. Access is granted once the network confirms your payment as final, which is usually a matter of minutes but depends on the coin and network you choose.

• Time stacks. A purchase extends from your existing expiration when it is still in the future, so renewing early does not waste remaining days.
• No automatic renewal. Every purchase is a one-off. We never store payment credentials and cannot charge you again, so membership simply lapses unless you buy more time.
• Underpayment. An invoice that is underpaid or paid after it expires may not register. Contact us with the transaction details if that happens.
• Price changes. We may change prices for future purchases. Time you have already bought is unaffected.

7. Free Trial

The Trial grants 24 hours of access, once per account. The application ends Trial sessions every 5 minutes, and interview mode on Trial is limited to 3 answers per interview. It is provided as a convenience and we may change or withdraw it for future users at any time.

8. Refunds

Cryptocurrency transfers cannot be reversed, so payments are final and we do not offer refunds for unused time or for a change of mind. If an order genuinely failed — for example a duplicate payment, or a confirmed payment that never activated access — contact us with your order reference and transaction hash and we will put it right.

9. Limits of the capture exclusion

The application asks Windows to exclude its window from capture, and that mechanism depends on the operating system version and on how a given tool records the screen. We cannot guarantee that the window will be excluded from every current or future capture method. In particular, it cannot hide from a camera pointed at your monitor, from hardware capture devices between your GPU and display, or from a person looking over your shoulder. The feature requires a supported Windows version, and third-party software may change behaviour at any time. Do not rely on the application in situations where exposure would cause you serious harm.

10. Third-party dependencies

The service relies on providers we do not control, including Cryptomus for payments, public blockchain networks, our authentication and hosting providers, and the Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime that renders web pages inside the application. We are not liable for their outages, delays, or changes.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make a reasonable effort to give notice to accounts holding unused paid time.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The service and application are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and any warranty that the capture exclusion will be effective against a specific tool. Some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or exposure of information resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to defeat membership enforcement. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through the contact page; remaining time is forfeited on deletion.

15. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms and will update the date above. Material changes take effect for purchases made after the update. Continuing to use the service means you accept the current version.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of US, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
